The GOP and 14th Amendment

The Republican Party of American politics, the Grand Old Party, the Government of the People, some even say it means Gods Own Party.

With a history as deep as America itself some GOP members want to take away parts of the 14 Amendment, while at the same time they give themselves credit for its creation.

I think GOP should stand for Grandstanding on Glibness.

    • Carol says:

grandstanding – To perform ostentatiously so as to impress an audience.

glibness – adjective mean being, marked by, or engaging in ready but often insincere or superficial discourse: a glib denial; a slick commercial; a smooth-tongued hypocrite.
